Your First Visit to Our Chelmsford Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New patients are warmly welcomed to our Chelmsford chiropractic office.

On your first visit we will welcome you to our office. You will be given a tour of our clinic and be orientated to the facility. This is a time of discovery for both you and us. Once you have arrived and are comfortable we will begin the process of getting to know you and what problem(s) has brought you to us.

You will be told what to expect from your Insurance should you choose to use it at our clinic. Full financial disclosure about your benefits, rights and responsibilities is the first step. Our patients say they appreciate this step because it often allays any fears that can accompany visiting a doctor’s office.

Next we explore your present problem and any related health history. We search your past history for any clues as to your current condition as well as any hidden health problems that may need immediate medical attention.

Next you can expect a very comprehensive examination inclusive of but not limited to a computerized foot and spinal analysis as well as a hands on chiropractic physical assessment.

We finish with X-ray orders on an as needed basis.

Throughout your first day you will learn about chiropractic's unique approach to health. Care may or may not be appropriate at this point based upon the examination or the need for more information from x-rays.

Dr. Mark Asks some important questions of interest to Chelmsford residents - Chiropractor Chelmsford Dr. Mark Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
